The Ottumwa Community School District is heartbroken to share the loss of one of our students, Kayleb Kramer, who just started his junior year at Ottumwa High School.
A loss like this is felt far beyond the classroom. Our school community is grieving alongside the student’s family and loved ones, as well as the classmates, friends, teachers, and staff who knew and cared for this student.
Our schools have counselors and support personnel available to help students and staff navigate the days ahead. We encourage anyone who is struggling with this loss to seek support and to give themselves and others grace as our community comes together.
