Junior Golf Camp
Children aged 6-12 years old who want to learn and improve their golf skills are encouraged to join the 2026 Junior Golf Camp! The camp will take place once a week for 5 weeks. The camp will include 2 days of lessons and 3 days of course play. Each child will get a camp t-shirt!

Golf Instructor: Michael Wetrich, Head Men's Golf Coach at Indian Hills Community College

Lessons
Lessons will be held on Monday, June 1, and Tuesday, June 9
Lesson times depend on age (see below)

• 10-12 year olds: Clinic will be 8:30-9:20 am
• 8-9 year olds: Clinic will be 9:30-10:20 am
• 6-7 year olds: Clinic will be 10:30-11:20 am

Lessons include:

• Introducing rules and golf etiquette
• Mastering the golf grip
• Learning to swing
• Putting
• Chipping

Course Play
Course play will be held on Tuesday, June 16, Tuesday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 30
Course play times will be determined each week and posted on Facebook

• Tee times will range from 7:45-10:00 am

Course Play Goals:

• Practice golf etiquette
• Learn how to keep score
• Practice golf skills
• Have fun!

Parent Volunteer
During course play, we will need parents to volunteer to keep score. (This is very simple, as it is just keeping tally marks.)

Please fill out the form and bring cash or a check (made payable to OGSC) to the first day of lessons.
